The legendary hundred-floor dungeon has finally fallen. After years of expeditions, shattered relics, and impossible victories, the hero’s party reaches the sealed chamber at the bottom—only to find a staircase descending farther. Beyond it lies Floor 101. With every level, the rules everyone has trusted begin to fail. Gravity turns traitorous. Familiar words lose their meaning. Doors open onto places that should not exist, and the party’s own companions begin speaking and acting in ways that feel strangely out of character. The deeper they go, the less certain the heroes can be that the dungeon is merely a place, that their memories are reliable, or that the world above still obeys the same logic. A strange, escalating mystery fantasy about a victorious party forced to continue into the impossible, where every descent reveals a new anomaly—and the bottom may be waiting for them as much as they are searching for it.

Characters

Tassa Orun

Relic-seeker

Flippant, perceptive, and emotionally evasive, using jokes to conceal how closely she watches everyone around her.

Tassa joined the expedition as a thief and artifact specialist, turning abandoned mechanisms and ancient wards into advantages for the party. She is usually the first to notice when a companion’s words or manner no longer seem quite like their own.

Iven Marr

Spellwright

Brilliant, competitive, and fond of explaining everything—until the rules he relies on stop holding still.

Iven is the party’s mage and the chief interpreter of the dungeon’s relics, traps, and magical systems. He expects Floor 101 to contain a final secret of immense power, but his spells and terminology begin behaving unpredictably almost as soon as the descent starts.

Brannoc Pell

Shield-bearer

Steady and protective, with a dry sense of humor that becomes less reassuring when reality starts answering him.

Brannoc has served as the party’s frontline fighter since its first expedition, carrying the same battered tower shield through every floor. He trusts physical evidence and simple plans, making the dungeon’s early violations of gravity and distance especially destabilizing.

Sella Vey

Protagonist

Practical, observant, and stubbornly compassionate; she distrusts impossible answers but cannot leave a mystery unfinished.

Sella is the party’s pathfinder and tactical leader, the person who guided them through all one hundred floors. At the story’s beginning, she is exhausted and ready to return home—until she discovers the staircase below the supposed end and chooses to lead the party onward.

Open Threads

The Staircase Below

A staircase appears behind the Demon Lord’s throne after the hundredth floor is defeated; Sella leads the party onto it to discover what lies beneath the dungeon’s supposed end.

The Changed Inscription

The warning at the staircase changes from 'Descend only if you have already arrived' to 'Descend only if you have not,' suggesting a deliberate but unexplained rule governing the lower floors.

Story Notes

Wishes from the creator and how the spirit answered them.

Chapter 1 opens right at the moment the 100th floor falls — the Demon Lord hits the ground, the treasure chest swings open, the whole party cheering. Then, mid-celebration, someone notices: behind the wall, there's another staircase.

Followed· Chapter 1

The chapter opens with the Demon Lord striking the floor, the treasure chest opening during the party’s celebration, and Sella discovering a staircase behind the throne before choosing to descend.
