She wants to uncover what happened to her estranged brother Marek, who vanished while investigating the same metro line, and prove that he did not simply abandon her. She secretly forged a maintenance badge to reach the hidden platform and has withheld the last page of Marek's notebook because it contains a warning addressed specifically to her.
