But as the interference disappears, he hears something that should not be there. Not scientific data. Not recorded conversations. Hundreds of people breathing together. Perfectly synchronized. The breathing is unnervingly clear, as if hundreds of people are standing directly beside him. Then he notices something even more disturbing.
