The Sword Beneath the Chapel

One day, from before dawn to evening

Aren Vale defends his village during a demon assault and discovers the legendary sword hidden beneath its chapel. Seraphine Orlan identifies him as the prophesied Champion, and Aren leaves for the capital to begin the Sealing March, while Vael Morcant and Kharos Veyr reveal that the Demon Army has orders not to kill him yet.
